DOMINATING THE 2^ND HALF OF THE YEAR 2013

Scripture: Matt 19: 1- 12

There comes a time in a man’s life when he needs to make some certain decision that will guarantee his success for the next phase. These decisions included prayerfully preparing for the challenges and temptations ahead. Our Lord Jesus also went through same process according to the above scriptures.

And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan; And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there. The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?  The coast of Judaea is located at the other side of Galilee which literally means that Jesus actually moved into another domain, a new phase and a new era. The bible stated “And great multitudes followed him”. When a man makes the decision to move to the other side, multitudes both bad and good will follow him with different agenda. And the tempters whom in the case of Jesus are the Pharisees will be waiting with tempting questions that demands divine wisdom to be answered. Most of these questions also pose a threat to our faith. Jesus been our example showed us how to relate with such people in the other side;  And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read….?. This is to tell us that what the folks in the other side needs is the word of God. Be bold to confront any question that comes to you this month with the word of God. I’m really not In the mood of breaking down scriptures today but to lead you in prayers. So I want you to get a pen and a book to write out these prayer points. They must be prayed by anyone who is not comfortable with the 1^st half of the year.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Thank the lord for the 1^st half of 2013. Extent the prayers to your husband, wife, children, friends and well-wishers.
2. Ask the lord for mercy. Tell him how sorry you are for the mistakes and sins you committed in the 1^st half of the year
3. Lord, as I begin to pray, I receive grace in the name of Jesus
4.  Lord, I receive grace to do good this 2^nd half of 2013
5. Every test waiting for me in the 2^nd half, I receive grace and wisdom to overcome.
6. Give me a fresh understanding of your word this 2^nd half
7.   Everything that troubled me in the first half of this year, expire by fire now
8.   Lord, show me favour financially this 2^nd half
9. Give me ability to execute all my plans for this 2^nd half
